lyrics

Moon glistens in the silver lake,
And I stand in my solitude.
Should I wade through the water and find
a moon shaped ball fallen from the stars?

Wind whispers through the silent trees,
And I stand in my solitude.
Should I climb the tree to the top and hear
a bearded mute man speaking to me?

Can I believe that forefather of mine
for the wrongs he has done
in making mine world so desolate
when I feel so much belongs me?

Water laps on an ebbing tide,
And I stand in my solitude.
Should I walk to the water to cup mine hands
and carry home liquid in a water safe hold?

My feet sink in the golden sand,
And I stand (still in solitude).
Should I jump from these holes and leave below
the sand which supported me through this dream time?
